About the event
This workshop will focus on learning the skill and technique to cover a cake with fondant. This includes filling and layering the cake with buttercream, covering it with ganache using the lid method, and finally, preparing and applying the fondant.
The session will commence with filling and layering and ganaching a cake, using the lid method, which will assist in creating sharp edges on your cake. While the ganache sets, afternoon tea will be enjoyed, before preparing the fondant to cover the cake. Finally, the cake will be covered in fondant, decorated with florals and boxed ready to take home.
